Golden Eagle Feather Drone
The totem is made from poplar and has turquoise inlaying. The turquoise is from an active mine in Arizona. Each piece of stone has been crushed by me and laid in individually with tweezers for a near perfect fit. The two golden eagle feathers are laying on three hand carved rocks. Along the shaft of this drone are three beautiful hand carved relief feathers that I have also inlayed with bursts of turquoise. My wife has brought the realism of the feathers to life with her painting. This drone is made from white pine and can be played as a flute or drone combination.
This beautiful eagle has a wing span of nearly 7 feet. Their feathers range from black-brown to very dark brown. Adults range greatly in size. The female is generally larger then the male eagle. Their beaks are well adapted to rip apart large prey. The eye sight of this great bird is 8 times that of a human. These birds usually mate for life and the female lays two eggs. The older chick is prominent due to the fact that it has a few days head start over the other. The adults invest much time in the raising of their young. They are truly great creatures. If you would like a drone like this the price would be $350.00. Please email me with any questions you may have.
